Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and how long we keep it. In plain language.
Last updated: 13 September 2026
The short version
This website has no advertising, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no cookies. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to type into the contact form or send us by email, and we use it only to reply to you.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
- Your name and email address (required, so we can reply)
- Your business name, phone number and the type of project, if you enter them
- The message you write
- Your IP address and browser user-agent string, recorded automatically with the submission. We keep these only to detect and block automated spam and abuse.
When you email us directly
We receive whatever you send, including your email address and anything in your signature. Mail is held in our email provider's systems in the ordinary way.
What we do not collect
- No cookies are set by this site, and no tracking or advertising scripts are loaded.
- No analytics service records your visit or builds a profile of you.
- We do not buy, sell, rent or trade personal information — ever.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry, to carry on the conversation that follows, and — in the case of the IP address and user-agent — to keep the form from being abused by bots. We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we will not add you to a newsletter you did not ask for.
Where it goes
A submitted form is stored on our own server (a virtual private server we control) and also triggers a notification email to our inbox. The people who can read it are the people who work on Chhindwara Labs. We share it with no one else, except where we are legally required to.
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site — a hosting provider for the server, a domain registrar, and an email provider. They process data on our behalf as a normal part of delivering those services.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will remove it from the database and our inbox.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the server is firewalled and access-restricted, and form submissions are rate-limited. No system is perfect, but we do not hold information we do not need, which is the most effective protection available.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us and we will act on it.
Children
This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
Our apps have their own policies
This policy covers this website only. Each product we publish has its own privacy policy covering what that app does — for example dharmamitra.in/privacy for DharmaMitra.
Client projects
When we build software for a client, that client is responsible for the personal data their software collects; we act on their instructions and are bound by whatever agreement we have signed with them. This policy does not cover those systems.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the page and the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
